On Friday, January 24th, come down to the City of Beloit Parks & Recreation for the annual 2020 Winterfest. Going all weekend with lots to do including the Snow Volleyball, Euchre Tournament, and Luminary Walk. There are lots of activities for winter like the open skate, and against winter like the open swim indoors.
The Beloit Civic Theatre is putting on its winter show with 37 Postcards. Being abroad for some time, Avery is coming home to Connecticut with his fiancée. But nothing is as he remembers. Grandma is alive, the dog hasn’t been fed in years, the house is on a tilt — it’s all chaos to him. The show starts January 30th at 7:30 p.m. with tickets at $10.
The Beloit International Film Festival
Starting on February 21, 2020, the 10-day film festival will start its 15th anniversary year. Featuring over a 150 filmmakers, the show pays immense respect to 100 independent and international films. The Capra-esque stylings of the festival will host events, films, and awards.
